Our Tuscan extra virgin olive oil comes exclusively from olive trees that are characteristic of the area: thanks to a wealth of variety, our product is rich in flavours and aromas. There are herbaceous, delicate, and fresh smells that recall the scents of the countryside. Depending on the year of production, there can be traces of almond, apricot, and basil. The newest oil, with its deep green color, recalls the intensity of artichoke. All these sensations are expressed with elegance and harmony, creating a structured and balanced oil.
The oil is processed through mechanical methods without any additives: in essence, the olives are not subjected to chemical treatments, only organic fertilizers. The goal is the production of a healthy and high quality food item that is absolutely free of synthetic substances. There are countless studies that highlight the healthy qualities of this product, which is considered the most suitable of all the widely consumed fats for human consumption. Our oil reaches such a level of purity and lack of acidity that it can be used as medicine for the liver.

The organoleptic properties of Villa Ghiandai’s Toscano PGI extra virgin olive oil are best expressed when consumed raw on toasted bread, on soups and stews, in salads, and with meat and fish dishes.
